”Too much screen time can lead to obesity, sleep problems, chronic neck and back problems, depression, anxiety and lower test scores. However. Look at me!”

Video documentation from a B3IG3 event 30 October 2021 at Grand Hotel Terminus in Bergen in collaboration with Entrée. The artists Dan Brown Brønlund (DK), Magnus Håland Sunde (NO) and Linda Morell (SE) were invited to exhibit an artwork that would be placed in relation to tv screens. Taking inspiration from the phenomenon Reaction Videos* from YouTube, the character KNAGSTER (as seen on B3IG3 TV on YouTube) reacted to each artwork, diffusing the boundaries of the digital and physical realm. By mixing satirical humor and fast paced editing similar to the genre, artist and writer Jennifer Chan mimicked the role of a digital-avatar-meets-art-critic. The manuscript was then performed and manipulated by Andreas Knag-Danielsen, creating a meta reaction of some sort in relation to the physical artworks. The installation consisted of sculptures, objects and TV screens that intertwined with the hotel decor while the host SCREEN TIME guided an invited audience through the hotel.
