Fitspiration (performance) is a ongoing research project where I collect slogans connected to the workout environment. The slogans are found with smartphone apps, such as Instagram and at various websites. During the performance I read out the collected material using a megaphone while wearing workout clothing and white contact lenses embodying the role of a PT (personal trainer). The performance ends when there is no material left to read.

Sore? Tired? Out of breath?
Sweaty? Good… It's working. 

Wake up with determination. Go to bed with satisfaction.

Suck it up. And someday you won't have to suck it in. 

Sweat is fat crying.
